Piggy and Lilly (first study)

I've been procrastinating the start of this particular idea. After indulging in your last post and the inspiring feelings resulting from it, I decided I could not possibly go to bed without doing something. In a way, I like it when that happens. Kind of like the idea needs life and it keeps you up afraid it will be lost otherwise. I should get better at listening to those feelings. They're the kind I want to cultivate.

In any case here they are: Piggy and his little girl, Lilly (study no.1). I think I like them. It's a start. It's almost like they're finally and really alive now. It's a neat kind of feeling. I've given them life but I feel more like their voice than their creator. I wonder what stories they have to tell...

Lost & Found

Somedays I do footage searches for projects we call "rips" which is short for "rip-off". Essentially we use stuff from wherever we can find it to create something else, which is usually used to sell someone on an idea, so that a "full-up" can be created, which is a commercial where the production is paid for and then broadcast or put on the internet. Which, now that I think about it, completes the cycle, allowing others to rip-off what we've created to further their own projects.

Long story short, I get to watch a lot of stuff on the internet sometimes, and every once in a while, I find a little nugget of gold. I thought this was one of those nuggets, and that you might like it.
