Somedays I do footage searches for projects we call "rips" which is short for "rip-off". Essentially we use stuff from wherever we can find it to create something else, which is usually used to sell someone on an idea, so that a "full-up" can be created, which is a commercial where the production is paid for and then broadcast or put on the internet. Which, now that I think about it, completes the cycle, allowing others to rip-off what we've created to further their own projects.
Long story short, I get to watch a lot of stuff on the internet sometimes, and every once in a while, I find a little nugget of gold. I thought this was one of those nuggets, and that you might like it.

Looking for inspiration is redundant. Life is inspiring.

So awesome. Inspiring, entertaining, and fascinating on every level. A cool guy. Amazing, fascinating art. A beautiful place. And a really brilliant little film. I really can't do my thoughts and feelings justice here. Suffice it to say I loved it and I'm inspired. I can see why it caught your eye. It struck me as very "Cam" on many levels. To me your own creativity and style is very reminiscent of Somerville's. I hope to see you tapping into that more as we use this forum as an impetus for our own creativity and exploration.
By the way, I do have something almost ready, though it may end up on Lindsey's blog. She was in New York for about 8 days recently and I've been busy up to my ears being Mr. Mom. I really want to get something up somewhere every day. I need it to become as important as eating, or making it to the bathroom before wetting myself (examples of two daily activities I usually manage pretty well).
