I was just walking up Lafeyette Street and some guy said, "Sweet hat, man!" He wore glasses similar to mine and had a bemused smile and a few fading pimples on his face. 

I smiled and replied a quick, "Thank you," and the two of us resumed our pace in opposite directions. 

Doing some rough math, I would venture that the age of my fellow TMBG fan was likely in the single digits when I got this hat. 

There is hope for the future.
